TallGrass Gives Back
a Fundraising Program for Non-Profit Organizations

TallGrass Aveda Spa and Salon in Evergreen, Colorado, announces a fundraising program to benefit the non-profit organizations that are favored by TallGrass guests. The TallGrass Gives Back program encourages spa guests to select a date, register their favorite non-profit organization, recruit their supporters to visit TallGrass on that date, and raise funds through TallGrass’s donation of a percentage of the proceeds of sales.

“TallGrass supports dozens non-profits with donations to charity auctions and through sales of our cookbook, along with the volunteer time of our staff for fundraising events,” says TallGrass owner Gail Ridings, “but we think there is more that we can do and that’s why we are introducing the TallGrass Gives Back program.”

When a date is designated for a non-profit organization, TallGrass provides a voucher that can be photocopied and distributed to supporters of the organization. Those supporters present the vouchers on the designated date and 10% of the proceeds from their spa services along with their purchases of retail items and gift certificates are donated to the non-profit organization, which must be exempt from federal income tax under 501c3.

“There is no limit to the amount an organization can raise and no limit to the number of times an organization can participate in a calendar year,” says Ms. Ridings.
