TallGrass Hosts Fundraiser for Breast Cancer Patients
Donors Enjoy Pink Martinis and Chair Massages

TallGrass Aveda Spa and Salon in Evergreen, Colorado, hosts a fundraiser in support of breast cancer patients on Friday, May 28, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Stagecoach Sports Grill, located at the corner of Stagecoach Road and Highway 74 in Evergreen. For a $25 contribution, donors get a Pink Martini, a 15-minute chair massage and an opportunity to help provide medical care for men and women affected by breast cancer regardless of their ability to pay.

TallGrass is fielding a team of walkers in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer / Rocky Mountains. Scheduled for Saturday-Sunday, June 26-27, the event is a 2-day, 37.2 mile walk from Keystone to Breckenridge. Each walker in the team is committed to raising a minimum of $1,800 in donations.

Funds raised through the Rocky Mountains walk are allocated to area cancer centers and community-based, non-profit breast health programs. In 2009, $1,035,000 was distributed in grants to University of Colorado Cancer Health Sciences Center, La Clinica Tepayac, Pueblo Community Health Center, The Women's Resource Center, Project Angel Heart and Children's Treehouse Foundation.
