One of my dearest friends often says "I'm not attached." She means that she is accepting of whatever the outcome may be in any situation. Seriously?

More often than not, I'm attached like super glue to the way I want something to go. Especially when I absolutely KNOW that my outcome is the best, dammit. My friend arrived at her amazing ability through years and years of work. Making the choice time and again not to attach, to expect, or to assume that she knows the best result. Sometimes I can do that. Let go. Don't fret. Go with the flow. It's sooo hard! But I see that peace comes from this work -- in her and other highly evolved people. That's immense.

So, I'll go back to working towards peace. Training actually. Just like you'd do for a sport or for strengthening your body. And, next time, when my plane is 3 hours delayed due to a mechanical issue and then we have a 2-hour thunderstorm delay circling over Denver (like, two days ago, when I was certainly not peaceful!) may I be able to breathe-in peace and exhale tension. We'll see.

Sending hope that you, too, can work towards non-attachment to outcomes. Peace certainly will be your reward!
