Summer Fun for Dogs and Their Humans at "Wine, Washes & Wagging Tails"
Second Annual Dog Wash Event takes place in Evergreen on July 29

Summer Fun for Dogs and Their Humans! is the theme for the second annual "Wine, Washes & Wagging Tails" event sponsored by TallGrass Aveda Spa and Salon. The frisky soap suds and wine sipping event is scheduled for Sunday, July 29, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the drive-thru of Evergreen National Bank in downtown Evergreen.

"Last year, we washed over 75 dogs," says TallGrass owner Gail Ridings, "and I don't know if it was more fun for the dogs, the volunteer washers or the folks who came down just to watch."

A $20 ticket gets one wash by volunteers for your dog and one glass of wine from Creekside Cellars for you. All proceeds benefit Evergreen Animal Protective League, an all-volunteer organization that aids lost and abandoned animals in need of forever homes. In addition to TallGrass, event co-sponsors are Evergreen Animal Protective League, Evergreen National Bank and Creekside Cellars.
