Susie Siebert
Spa Director
“Creating memories and giving outstanding customer service is important to me,” says Spa Director, Susie Siebert. Given her passion for the spa industry and 16 years experience, Susie's intention is to create memorable experiences for guests every time they visit. She understands that each guest is an individual who wants to be treated specially.
Susie has high expectations for her team, too. She looks for staff with a positive and friendly attitude, extraordinary customer service skills and willingness to go the extra mile for TallGrass guests. She calls her philosophy “Hire hard and manage easy.”
Susie is a certified massage therapist who also teaches the art of massage and has a fitness background as an aerobics instructor and personal trainer. Before becoming Spa Director at TallGrass, she spent 12 years at the Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa in Palm Desert, California, during a time when her spa won numerous awards.
Overseeing the TallGrass Leadership Team, Retail, Hair Salon, Guest Relations, Maintenance, Education and Staff Development departments, Susie is a visible manager with a hands-on style. "I like to be right out there with staff and guests to ensure a quality experience," she says.
Linda Baiada
Guest Relations Manager
Every time you come to TallGrass, you are welcomed by people who are ready to make you feel like a princess. “It takes a little bit of scurrying behind the scenes to set the stage,” says Linda, who manages reception, hostess and reservations staff,” but we are ready to be the TallGrass ambassadors, the first people you see upon arrival and the last people you see when you leave. We tie it all together.”
Being goal-oriented, customer service friendly and a people person comes easily to Linda who was a full time volunteer before accepting a position at TallGrass. “I was the supreme volunteer,” says Linda. “While my girls were in school, I was involved in every fundraiser there was.” When her daughters went away to college, Linda looked around for something to do. She had been a TallGrass guest, loved the spa, wanted to work in Evergreen, and so it was a natural that she should become a member of the Guest Relations staff and then, because of her outstanding performance and enthusiasm for the job, be promoted to manager.

Jane Faulkner, Team Leader, Retail Department
A former teacher and a retired flight attendant, Jane Faulkner found her niche in retail, having worked part time at Nordstrom’s. She figured she had a knack for it.
Hearing about TallGrass from friends who encouraged her to zero in on her dream job, she applied to head up the Retail Department. “I have always used Aveda products,” she says “and I appreciate the company’s philosophy of working with communities throughout the world.” Her goal is to make sure everyone has knowledge of Aveda and its mission to recycle, reuse and regenerate.
When she is not working at TallGrass, Jane likes to be outdoors – running, hiking, biking. From the time she went to camp in Colorado at age 16, she knew this is where she was meant to be.

Stacey Jones
Operations Coordinator
Coordinating VIP parties, ordering supplies and working with the caterer is how Stacey Jones describes her role as Operations Coordinator. “I also need to be sure that the spa and all facilities in it are running efficiently, both inside and out,” she says.
Stacey began working at TallGrass in the Guest Relations department, greeting guests and scheduling appointments. After a few months, she applied for the administrative position. “I am so happy working here,” she says. “I absolutely love it.” Besides the beautiful mountain valley setting and scenic drive to work, Stacey enjoys “the incredible people who work here.”
Stacey is from the Finger Lakes region of Western New York. Her family owns a Bed and Breakfast there, so visits home are a real pleasure. Outside of TallGrass she likes to hear live music and looks forward to snowboarding in the winter.
Rebecca Lee
Team Leader, Nail Department
Have you seen Rebecca's wand? Pewter, embellished with a star and crystal at the tip, it's the wand of the "Fun Fairy" - a designation awarded to Rebecca by the TallGrass staff because she brings sunshine, shares happiness and puts the good fairy touch on everyone.
Team Leader of the Nail Department and Aveda-certified Nail Care Educator, Rebecca describes herself as coach, mom, sister and friend to the nail technicians who work in the nail room, a comfortable space that offers cushy pedicure chairs with heated footbaths and warmed shoulder wraps.
Rebecca believes the Nail Department defines what the spa is all about and gives guests that special TallGrass feeling to take home. "Every time they look at their fingers and toes, they are reminded of the magical experience at TallGrass. We make someone's day, every day and I'm proud of that."
Ruthie O’Brien
Team Leader, Laundry Department
As the “Queen of Clean,” Ruthie O’Brien works at the very foundation of TallGrass, literally and figuratively. She spends most of her time downstairs overseeing the Laundry Department, making sure robes, slippers, towels and blankets are clean, soft, fluffy and up to TallGrass standards for luxury. She oversees a staff of ten, mostly high school students, who operate an industrial washer and dryer that run from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. every day of the week.
Prior to becoming Team Leader of the Laundry Department, Ruthie worked in the Guest Relations and the Finance Departments and before that she had a 33-year career as a flight attendant. “A lot of us retired as the travel industry began to change,” she says. “Until then it was the best full time/part time job you could have. When it’s all said and done, though, right here is the best place on the planet.”
