Yeehaw! I'm in full cowgirl swing.

Our horses, Jet (mine) and Duke (my husband, Chuck's), are back at the TallGrass barn after a bit of training this winter in southern Colorado. It's wonderful to have them home to help us welcome summer. And, not a minute too soon. Another snowfall and I might have become a mumbling, grumbling spa owner!

A great summer tradition, for the past 75 years in our town, is the Evergreen Rodeo and Parade, June 13, 14, 15, when we enjoy it all - bull riding, a dance with the Railbenders band, a wonderful parade and two full days of rodeo. Somehow this Chicago city slicker got involved years ago and now I'm chairing the Rodeo Board, by golly. It's one of my favorite times of the year. Come join us.
