TallGrass supports dozens and dozens of non-profit organizations in our community through donations of gifts for charity auctions and proceeds from sales of our cookbook, along with the volunteer time of our staff for fundraising special events and, of course, our participation in the Mountain Resource Center Children’s Holiday Party.

We think there is more we can do. And that’s why we are inviting our guests to submit their favorite non-profit organizations for the TallGrass Spa and Share fundraising program. 

Simply book a TallGrass Spa and Share date for your organization and receive a voucher that can be copied and distributed to members and friends of your organization. They visit TallGrass on the designated date, they present the vouchers, and a percentage of the proceeds from the sales of their services, retail items and gift certificates is donated to your non-profit organization. From January to April 2009, the percentage is 20% and then 10% thereafter. This is a charitable donation made by TallGrass Spa.

Please keep these points in mind.

• The non-profit organization must be exempt from federal income tax under 501c3.
• There is no limit to the amount your organization can raise and no limit to the number of times your organization can participate in a calendar year. However, designated dates must fall on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (not including the weeks of Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years).
• Your choice of dates must be submitted at least six weeks in advance.
